Submission Guidelines

Sua Sponte Press is an independent publisher in Toronto, Canada.

Please note we do not pay advances, only royalties.

We accept submissions for non-fiction and fiction titles. Our primary interests are in history, military (including science fiction) and political titles but with a caveat - we do not publish right-wing or pro-Israel anything.

We do not accept submissions of books that have been previously published or self-published (you can ask us though), graphic novels, children’s or YA books, fantasy, erotica, or poetry (excepting long format epic war poems).

Please include the following with your submission using the CONTACT form in the main menu bar:

• Subject line should include the title of your project

• An introductory email telling us about you (short bio) and your project. You must submit a 1-2 page synopsis, or 250-500 words.

• Contact information

• If you are submitting it elsewhere at the same time please let us know

If we are interested we would need:

• The full manuscript in PDF - no links. The MS has to be 12-point font and double-spaced.

We aim to answer queries in a timely fashion.
